scale rate to evaluate punctuality & reachability

Laura Jimenez 7 years ago in Vendor Portal 0

Hello,

Do you evaluate vendor punctuality?

Do you register in some way who uses to deliver on-time and who doesn't?

Does anyone find usefull to have a scale rate to evaluate wether the vendor deliver on time or not?

And what about reachability? Wouldn´t you find usefull for your PMs to know if a vendor is easily reachable or not? For example to discard those who don't reply fast when you are looking for someone for an urgent request.

Feedback for XML file creator for Trados stats

Jan Hinrichs 7 years ago in Home Portal / Smart Projects updated 7 years ago 3

Hi XTRF Community,

At Beluga we have created a simple web based form to get stats from Smartling and other TMS into XTRF as XML files for the receivable and payables in Smart Projects.

Test server link: https://dedalusnet.com/servicios/xmlxtrf/xmlxtrf/www/

Would be great to hear if this is useful for you too. Hope you like it and it saves some time. Your feedback is very much welcomed!

Can the ordering of tasks be changed in Classic Projects?

After the XTRF 7 update, the ordering of tasks has been changed, and now our classic projects look like this:

Image 827

On the one hand we can't really decipher the pattern, while on the other hand, our PMs vastly prefer the regular ascending order of tasks.

Is there a way to set this back to an ascending order?

Many thanks for your tips in advance.

Answer

Good news, everyone! This issue has been fixed and will be available in the upcoming releases of versions 7.0.x (tomorrow) and 8 (this week).

Creating an invoice in another language

For some of our clients we will need to create invoices in Greek, based on another template, although the default language is English. Could you please advise how we can do that?

Can I delete project files?

Ted 7 years ago in Home Portal / Smart Projects updated by Katie 7 years ago 5

We have a customer who requested that we delete their files after the completion of a project.  We were able to delete some of the files, but two remain.  How can I delete the remaining files?

Deadline of last job no longer the start date of next job in XTRF 7 Classic Projects?

Krisztián Király 7 years ago in Home Portal / Classic Projects updated by Alexandros 7 years ago 7

I've been playing around with XTRF 7 on our test instance, and I've noticed that when I set the deadline of a job in Classic, the system does not offer me the option to change the start date of the next job.

I've seen that this is the default behaviour when using Smart projects, but this was a great functionality in Classic projects, our PMs used it a lot to make their work faster, and since it was optional to begin with, I don't see why this was removed.

Not to mention that adding this feature to Smart projects was already suggested here by Sancho.

I know that Classic project users are in a minority, but will any of you miss this feature in XTRF 7?

Answer

Hi Marek,

Thanks for checking. That might indeed be the problem. To be honest, we almost never use the selection calendar, typing is much faster.

I can confirm that it works when using the calendar.

So I guess this turns into a bug report, typing doesn't trigger the automatic set date and time. :)

How to add "Task Name" in Vendor Portal Jobs view

Popie Matsouka 7 years ago in Vendor Portal updated by Jan Sundström 4 years ago 8

Hi everyone,

is there a way to add the name of a Task, after the Task ID, in the columns the vendors see through the vendor portal?

For example, in the current Vendor Portal that we have, the vendors see (in the tab "Jobs") "Job Number", "Delivery Date", "Total Amount" and "Invoice". I would like to add "Task name" after "Job Number". How could I do that?

Thanks!

Popie

Answer

It is possible to have the project name show up on the vendor portal, if that could help? I think this feature might need to be activated on your license by your account manager.

Anyone familiar with Xilio?

Łukasz Kaleta (Senior Customer Success Manager) 7 years ago in Something Else updated by Leo Gurman 7 years ago 8

I am just curious if anyone here came across Xilio and found it interesting.

Would you like XTRF to enable integration with that tool?
