How to sort jobs per preferred vendor

Is it possible in client's profile under preferred vendors to also see jobs on which each preferred vendor has worked on for the client? In other words, select preferred vendor based on job (eg. project name, end client name etc) and not just the client.

Answer

Such filtering is not possible on a client's profile, but can be done in Projects > Jobs view. 

Just use the filter "Vendor > Preferred by Client (any Price Profile)" as shown below. You will then see how many and what different jobs are done by particular names.

Google Sheets Add On Question - Old Data Remains

Quick question about the Google Sheets Add On.

I have a spreadsheet that I'm using the google sheets add on. I'm pulling projects that I closed last week. However, when a new week rolls around, while the data updates, if I have fewer records in the new week, XTRF writes all the new fields up to the last current record, and then leaves all the old data. So, some of the old data remain in what is supposed to be one week of data.


Does that make sense? Do I have some settings wrong for this?

XTRF document preview problems

Hi,

I know this should be reported to the Support desk, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems with generating previews for quotes etc.

We have our self hosted version of XTRF, but somehow, it feels that the generation of previews is linked to XTRF servers. We have exactly the same problem on our test environment hosted by XTRF. So I was wondering if other people have this problem as well.

We tried to restart XTRF multiple times, but it did not solve a thing..

Can't see the Job Manager field in Portals tab

Hello! I have been trying to allow our in-house "vendors" to report time spent on tasks, but I don't see the Job Manager field in the "Portals" tab. Is there a way to enable this? Thanks!

Sum of calculation units per match rate for all CAT tool projects (month, year etc.)

Hi,

Is there any way I could get a sum of all calculation units for all CAT tool projects in a period of a month or even a year? I need the information by match rate, so how many 101% units, how many 100, 85-99% etc. Any ideas?

How to access files in partially completed tasks

I have a project where the task has multiple files. The vendor is delivering the translated documents on a rolling basis. She uploaded the first file, but the other isn't due yet. Because she hasn't marked the job to that task as finished, I can't access the uploaded the file. 


Is there a way to get it? I tried to log in as the vendor in the VP, but it won't let us download. I tried to access the document folder for the project via FTP, but it just shows an encrypted PDF file of some type. 

Any ideas here?

Quote as rate card

Is it possible to create a quote which acts as a rate card? I do not want the rates to be summarised on the first page into one total.

use free email address input in CRM emails

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible or if there is a workaround for adding people to a CRM mail that are not in XTRF by directly inputting their email address.

We would like to make use of the CRM templates for making first contact with new vendors that did not find their way directly to the registration form.
