Default settings for new jobs - "Start Job Automatically" unchecked by default
Classic Projects user here.
Is there any way to define default settings for new jobs our PMs would add to workflows? I am particularly interested in having the "start job automatically" box unchecked by default.

In projects we fill in the feedback tab. (below is the print screen). I'd like to know Can I make a report on all recorded feedback? If so, how?
Job splitting in classic projects
Is it possible to split a job (e.g. 1 large document) to 5 or more vendors? 1 language pair.
If not, what is the workaround?

There a couple of ways to do that. One is to add translation jobs to the same task, which you can assign to different vendors. The advantage here is these will all feed into the next job (so if the next one is revision, the single reviser will get all the files from all 5 translation jobs).
The second way is to simply add new tasks for each part (that is what we usually do).
Associated CAT project not deleted when deleting Smart Project in XTRF
XTRF 8 introduced the possibility to delete Smart Projects. When doing so, you're asked whether you would like to also delete the associated project from the CAT tool (in our case: memoQ); see screenshot. We have deleted several projects with associated memoQ projects already, using this option. However, in none of the cases was the associated memoQ project actually deleted. This seems to be a bug. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Yes, when you add multiple tasks to the invoice the whole group will get one Invoice number.
And yes, You can add there only tasks that were not invoiced yet.

Workflow Directories . add items
Hi,
Is it possible to add items to the Workflow Directories list?
I tried adding it through this menu, but it does not add the item to the Workflow Directories.

The list of workflow directories in the Task is fixed and it is not possible to add anything to that list. There's one directory for each file category + one directory for the Task output.

Is it possible to serch in view on multiple clients?

Is it possible to search on multiple clients (or in any other text filter) by using some sort of expression?
eg: If I have a view with the filter "client name" can I search for "client x" and "client y"?

It depends on which module you have this view because some filters are not available in all modules.
When it comes to the filters there are several types of filters in the system (just like the types of custom fields): tex type, selection, date etc.
The "Client name" filter is the tex type, it's a simple text filter and it is not possible to use it for this purpose. It will allways search the inserted strings of characters againts the names of your clients.
But there is another filter called "Client" and it is a selection type. For example in projects module you will find this filter in the Client group
Please bear in mind to select the multiple selection in the configuration of the filter. This way you can search for projects of more then one client.
This filter is available for views in: Opportunities, Quotes, Projects and Invoicing modules.
It is not available in the Clients module.

Rates in projects/tasks view
For external reporting purposes we need report on word rate that was invoiced. Now I only see the possibility in the view to add totals. Is there way to have this more specfied? So in our report we want to be able to retrieve information like 21 cents per word for 6000 words.

There's no column in the system that could show you such information. It is possible that it could be added as a Custom Column (Virtual column).

Change or remove LISA evaluation score
I was surprised to find out that it is not possible to change or delete LISA evaluation scores in Smart Projects. Helpdesk asked me to raise the question here.
So what are you to do if the wrong score was submitted, or in our case, you simply want to remove LISA evaluation scores because you're not using that scoring system anymore?

It is not possible to remove the LISA evaluation once it was submitted. But you can change the score by changing the Error storage and submitting it again. The system will recalculate the score.
Release notes for 8.1.7 and 8.1.8
Could you please add the release notes for these two versions? Looks like SaaS was updated to 8.1.8 on November 10. Would be good to know what was addressed in these patch fixes. Thank you!
