Price view in Providers
Hi all,
Is there any way to customize the providers view in order to see their name, language combinations, rates and email address?
Because when I add price lists or price profile all I can see are the currencies, but not the actual rates.

How do you add files to a task using the Home Portal API?
I'm looking to develop a process where our customer managers can upload 1 to many source files to tasks in an XTRF project, using the Home Portal API - my intention is to write the code to run server-side so that at a push of a button, multiple files can be uploaded.
We have daily project files that we create from a template - that bit's nice and simple; the files come in during the day from our client, and then at about 5 p.m. each evening all the files have to be uploaded to the project. This is currently time-consuming and open to human error.
Has anybody here faced a similar challenge, and if so, what did they do to resolve it?
How to invoice to a different client after the project is closed
We're having some trouble invoicing to some of our clients because sometimes we have a main client that orders the services and at the end of the month, this client send us a list in which we can find all the information about what project belongs to what client (they have 6 different companies, with different addresses and different VAT numbers).
Any idea on how to change the client in the invoicing phase once the project is closed?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Ainhoa,
I'm not sure if this is different when working with Smart projects., but we handle this situation by grouping the customers in a client group. You can link Offices for the main client under Customer > Main Data > Offices. When the customers are linked in this way, it is possible to change the client in the invoice stage to one of the other Offices in the invoice's Client Data section.
My vendors cannot invoice me - get a message they can't invoice for another 41 days?
Where in the settings is this changed? I want them to be able to invoice me at the end of each month+ 7 days thereafter. (if this isn't possible, I need them to be able to invoice any time)
Dear Customer,
To fix this issue you need to first adjust the dates in Expected Invoice date in the system configuration. After the change will be saved you need to go project and uncheck and check "Use default" for every job with this issue.Here is a video that should help you do this:

SMS to Vendors
We want to start using the integrated text message service, but I have a few questions.
Can we send SMS from the vendor's profile or only from quotes/projects/invoices? We'd like to be able to contact our vendors to check their availability for potential projects.
I understood that only templates can be used, but can I create my own templates? I don't have credentials for opening / editing templates.

Possible to have multiple default calculation units?
Is it possible to have a few calculation units which can be considered "default"? We have several different jobs which have mutually exclusive calculation units, so it would be helpful for there to be a ranking order of default calculation units so that all jobs/receivables have the correct one by default to make setting up POs and receivables quicker.
How to create vendor report with services/languages...
We're trying to do a gap analysis of our current vendors in XTRF and combine it with or projected needs. I am trying to export our vendors in a way that lists each vendor with their language pairs and services offered. I think what I would want is to have each vendor listed multiple times - once for each language pair/service offered. That way I could put the data into a BI tool or an excel pivot table, and generate a report of number of vendors offering which service, which language pair, current rating etc... Can I do this?
Currently I'm trying this in the smart views on the vendor tab. But all I can do is export a single field that has all the language combinations and no services.
Am I missing something? Is there a work around?
Wrong contact details on invoice template
On the invoice template the following contact details appear when generated:
The VAT No. is the only correct info. How do I modify the rest of the details? Thanks!
How can I add a project name that will be visible to the vendors?
Currently all they see is something along these lines: Job: 2018/62/#1, and the project name is only visible in the PO. I would like them to see the project title in their current list of jobs in the vendor portal and also when they open the project. Is there any way this can be done?
It's in the Partner Management/Vendor Portal settings under Privacy Settings. Needs to be enabled in the license, though.
