Multiple surcharges/discounts in Task Multiple Change
Hi,
We have created a Quote in about 20 languages. For this client a discount is applied by default (based on the volume from the previous year). After creating the quote it is decided to give a special discount for this specific project. Is there an easier way to apply this to all 20 languages than to do this manually for each language?
In the Task multiple change there is an option to overwrite the discount/surcharge, but when I use this it clears the default volume discount so you cannot set this to multiple values it seems...

Language pair in opened projects
Hi all,
We try to insert the language pair in an opened project but the source language is locked, therefore we are not allowed to choose it. However, we can choose the target language.
Is it possible to change the settings and be able to choose the source language as well?
How can I get a list of approved quotes that have not yet been converted into a project?
More specifically: how can I set this as a filtered view, so that I can add a dashboard widget with the sum of the value of these quotes?
2 Vendor Email Questions - how to export vendor email addresses and how to create a vendor mailing list...
I'm trying to send an email to a number of my vendors. I created a view that I wanted to export to use as a mailing list, but now I realize that I can't add "Email" as a column in my vendor view. Is this not possible?
Related question... If I can't export email addresses, could I use the 'mailing list' feature to email within XTRF? I've never used it but I can't find any information on this feature in the knowledge base.
Thanks for the assistance!
XTRF at GALA
Why wasn't XTRF at GALA in Boston this year? I was looking forward to saying hi to the team!
If a project has several jobs and deadlines under the same language pair...
If a project has several jobs and deadlines under the same language pair, how and where do we add those dates?
What we definitely will need is to be able to enter more than one client-side deadline under each language pair, since some of our projects have batches of files that come from the client one after the other, and where each batch has its own deadline. Those deadlines are of course not the same as the vendor-side deadlines. Would you then add a dummy-step at the end of the process and call that “client-side deadline”?
User just for report (not using XTRF)
Hi,
I need a thing which I do not know how it can be done, but I do hope you can find a solution,
I need to add a list o people, which will not be users of the software.
I just need to be able to link data to them.
Meaning I create X project, I want the project manager to be X user and not me.
The user will not be allowed access to XTRF.
Can this be done?
Margin 1 and 2
We work in Smart projects.
To be able to measure costs, we have added our PM:s as "vendors" (Linked with users) and add a cost for project management for each project. This means that the calculated magin in xtrf includes both internal and external costs. Now we are looking for a way to create a report for the margin after external costs only, as well as one after external and internal costs. That is, Margin 1 and 2.
Any suggestions to how we could do this?
Where can I change company address?
In the POs to vendors, the country is wrongly listed, how do I correct it? Couldn't find it in the settings.
Thanks
Turnaround Time Reporting at Project and Task level?
Hi,
For our client-facing reporting, we often need to report the time-to-market, or turnaround time for our projects. I am looking to create a report for a client who is asking for turnaround time at both the project and task level.
So, for instance, let's say I have a start date for the project - e.g. March 1, 2018, and delivery date of March 8, 2018. The TAT for this project is 7 calendar days / 5 business days. I am looking to calculate this info across all of the projects (and tasks) for a particular client.
For now, we are only able to export a report with the start and end dates, copy this into Excel, run a formula and in this way get the TAT at the project and task level.
I was wondering if something like this was already available in XTRF and if not - does anyone have any ideas as to how we might get this from XTRF, perhaps using a virtual column?
Thank you,
Jaime
