Limit access to client data

Hello, 


I have a 2-user setup. We will probably add more users in the future. I want only the admin account to have access to our clients' data. How can I restrict those in the Project Management user group from accessing client information?


Also, if I do this, how should they create projects with no access to client data? Do they just create a project with files and assign vendors?

Hosted Upgrade to v7

Has anyone upgraded to version 7 on a hosted account of XTRF? We want to know if there are any challenges with things breaking or needing attention once the upgrade occurs. We're compiling a list of our limited customizations, to make sure we can pay attention to them after an upgrade, but wanted to know if others had experience they could share so far.

Upgrade to XTRF 7 on Linux

Has anyone tried to upgrade XTRF to version 7 on any Linux distro?
Not sure whether it is already available in the Linux repositories:

And an attempt to install systemd assumes, that… Postgresql will be deleted, so it's not the best idea.

How to add users to CRM entries, for information purposes?

We register client calls etc. in the CRM module. Sometimes we want other colleagues (other users) to know about a call, an email etc.


It seems we cannot add users as associations. It's also not possible to add a notification/reminder for a memo type entry, I believe.


What would be the best way to include other users in these entries so they are updated when necessary?


Ideally, we would have this information on the dashboard. Let's say all new CRM entries for the last week, or the last 3 days, that are relevant to that user.

Can I see vendor rates in any view

When I select a language and run a search on which vendor to use, I also want to see the rates they charge.  How can I see this information?

How can I log off a user that appears to be logged in, but in fact is not?

Our license allows five users to be logged in simultaneously. Currently, four are logged in, but a fifth is still taken to be logged in by the system, so we reached our limit. Logging in and out again as this user is to no avail. I remember that I could log in as admin and find a list of currently logged in users, where I could forcefully log out any user... Probably under Configuration | System. But in our current version (6) I can't find anything like that. Is it still possible to do this? If not, how do we proceed to remove this ghost user?

Hi,


Try this: Configoration > System Information > System Monitor. Under Active sessions you'll find a list of logged-in users with Sign-out option.

XTRF memoq - update Translation Memory

Hi,


I just wanted to check how others use the Resources update function in a XTRF/memoQ project. For example if I have 2 TMs attached to a memoQ/XTRF project, but only want to update 1. Do I always have to deselect the other one in the External Systems->Resources or is there any other way to avoid this and set a rule that defines which TM should be updated and which not?

Non conformities disappear

Recently I have been adding a few non-conformities in several smart projects but after putting status resolved they disappear from the map and I also dont see them in the feedback of the resource. What is happening here?

How to send customer account statement?

Hello,


I see that there is a template for Account Statement in XTRF settings, and I see some information here https://knowledgebase.xtrf.eu/display/XTRFHelp/Charges+-+Invoices+-+Customer about the "Charges" tab within the Invoicing module. However when I go to the invoicing module I don't see any charges tab or how to use an Account Statement template? Is this discontinued (and assumed that the client would use the customer portal instead), or can you please direct me to where to use this feature? Thank you!
