Branding logo was set back to default after 8.0.5

After the update to 8.0.5 our branding logo disappeared and was set back to the default. After changing, the branding logo is not pushed correctly to our invoice templates. I am currently changing them all with a direct link to the image itself. 
Though I consider this to be a bug in the XTRF system. Am I the only one having this issue?

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience with logo issue in 8.0.5 version. This issue has been fixed already and the fix-pack will be deployed tonight.

Subscription API - callback

We are implementing the Subscription API. From documentation we see that "Subscriptions are automatically removed if they do not work".


I can imagine that our custom application we are developing will not always available (ie planned maintenance, lost internet connection).


How can we see which subscription status changes are missed? Is there a log table in XTRF? Or is there a queue, where we can 'refire' the missed call from XTRF?

Client's preferred vendors

Hello. I could not find any specific information about how "Client's preferred vendors" work in XTRF. There is only a short release note, but I am not sure if this only works for SmartProjects or for Classic projects as well?


Also, if I choose a set of different vendors under "Preferred vendors" - would the system suggest me to assign them in my workflows, taking into consideration the correct language pair and job type specified in the vendor's profile?


In the release note it was also mentioned the "job offer". Does it mean it would only work for Availability Requests?

Hello all!

This was already available in Smart Projects, the information about it in Release Notes was specifically about Classic Projects.

So let me show you how you can use it.


First, you need to add the vendor to the preferred list of certain client,

Second, you need to add the filter to the vendor selection view.

Be aware that after the first time that you add it, this filter will be automatically filled with the price profile of the Client. Of course, you can always remove this filter. I suggest considering having two different views there, one for 'regular' selection and second for 'preferred by client'. The same view is used when you select vendors for job offers (as I did the full manual approach in the video above) so you don't need to worry about this case neither.


For you that are using the Vendor Filtering Rules, you can add this specific filter also there, please follow the third video down below.

Issues with API since the upgrade

Hello,

This question is for all those API developers:

Since the upgrade some function in our API code aren't working as they were:

1. Attach a file to a project/quote request.

2. New potential client - when we create a new potential client and then send the quote, we get a 403 error. Any idea why is this happening?

SDL Language Cloud

Hello,


right now, XTRF offers 3 MT integrations:


  • SDL BeGlobal Community
  • SDL Automated Translation
  • Google Translate


But, SDL Automated Translation is an outdated integration since SDL Automated Translation is not anymore a service offered by SDL.


Question: is SDL Language Cloud planned to be integrated in XTRF?

The dynamic fields corresponding to EU VAT disappeared in the new XTRF templates. While I can see a field with our company EU VAT –

(xtrfContext.getRootObject().getCustomer().getBranch().getCountrySpecificFiscalCodeValue() != "" ? reportContext.getMessage("pdf.eu_vat", reportContext.getLocale()) + " " + xtrfContext.getRootObject().getCustomer().getBranch().getCountrySpecificFiscalCodeValue() : "")

 – I would like to know there the XTRF BIRT expressions are stored. XTRF Knowledge base here at UserEcho seems not to cover this important issue.

Error each time I click Page 2 in the Classic Dashboard

Every time I go to click Page 2 to see my other projects, I get an error. It has never worked once. Can you please fix this?
