Bundles and classic projects - memoq

Hi,


I was wondering how you setup classic projects with memoQ using Bundles.


More specifically for jobs that require multiple translators (jobs) in which each translator gets his own file.


Is there a way to set up a workflow definition that would automatically add a specific number of bundles according to the number of translators?


Or is the solution to just create a workflow definition with multiple bundles and hope the number of translators will not be larger than number of bundles?


Or am I missing something fundamental here?

Task Receiveable - Import from from input file incorrect

Is anyone else experiencing the issue that importing the volume from excel files from input file for receivable is not working - the volume imported is always 1 word regardless of the actual volume of the xlsx file?

How to get job id of existing job in XTRF smart project

I would like to update the status of existing jobs in XTRF smart projects using the XTRF Home Portal API.

The API call requires a job ID, but I don't where to find this ID.


End point: .../v2/jobs/{jobId}/status


Following the solution of a similar question on stackoverflow, I have defined a view with a list of jobs that require updating. However, there seems to be no column that holds the {jobId} that is required for the API. There is a column called "Internal ID" that contains a 4-digit number (in my case). But when I use that number in the API call, there's an error:

"Invalid Job ID of a Smart Job. Use new form of Job ID for Smart Jobs (e.g. 2QROVSCO3ZG3NM6KAZZBXH5HMI)."

So apparently, there is a new form for the job ID. Is there a specific column for the view that I should use, or is there another way to retrieve this job ID?

Default status of manually added vendor

We're experimenting with manually adding certain vendors to our database rather than having them register themselves. However, we've found that the default status for a vendor added manually is Active. Is there a way to change the default status for a manually added vendor?

Cannot create client invoices from the Add Client Invoice menu at the top of page

Is anyone else experiencing this with Client and Provider invoices in 8.0.9? 

It is getting extremely frustrating having to deal with all the new bugs in each version. Is there zero quality control anymore? Why does XTRF keep breaking things that worked with each patch build?

Traceability of file uploads (GDPR, ISO)

Hi, we just noticed that when a user adds files to a project using Add Files in Files Section (Smart Projects), the system identifies the file as added by the project manager responsible for the project and not by the user. Is this consistent with the requirement of traceability required by GDPR or ISO?

I find it potentially dangerous.

Something obstructs the email trafficking

Hi All,


I had the problem of not being able to send any emails through XTRF when I first started using it. And then, I found the solution by changing SMTP settings and unclicking the "Redirect All Mail to Admin", everything was resolved.


But afterwards, after some updates (I learned about them by following up the news here and the e-mails I received), I stopped being able to receive the e-mails to which I cc'ed myself. But providers receive them, there is no problem with that. Now, I cannot receive any cc e-mails or even any e-mail when I choose to "Redirect All Mail to Admin". I do the test if I am going to receive any e-mails to a definite e-mail address, I pass the test but then, no e-mails are received.


I cannot create accounts to new providers, too, by myself, by redirecting all mails to my e-mail address.


I didn't change any setting in the meanwhile. What could have happened to my account? I need some help here.

How to avoid sharing additional project files, pasckages received during the project wit other team members

Sometimes we have projects where customers send new additional files which tjan need to be translated bu additional translators. When we add them to project they are shared with all translators. Is there a way to avoid this?
