Complete list of all languages that XTRF supports

XTRF does not exactly "support" languages like CAT tools do. It can use whatever you define as a language. 


It makes use of pre-defined languages, which are used as parameters on quotes, projects, client and vendor rates. There is a list of default, built-in languages that come in every new XTRF deployment (+250 items). Authorized users can change it by editing, adding and removing languages. 


Note that local varieties are treated as separate languages. 


XTRF uses a set of standard parameters to make languages 'understood' by users, vendors and CAT tools it integrates with. 

These are:

  • display name
  • short name / symbol
  • ISO 639-1 Code
  • ISO 639-2 code

Languages are found and defined among System Values, as shown below.

Saving mobile number in vendor info-bug

Everytime when I enter a mobile phone number in a vendor profile, and click save it doesnt save the number and I have to do it again. It looks like a  bug.

Reports -> Client Feedback -> No Resolution date for solving issues

Hello everyone,


I wanted to ask who is making the use of the "Client Feedback" module and is tracking opened and resolved issues? In my company we do it a lot, and we are suffering from not being able to measure the issues in a very efficient way. We are missing the "Resolution Date" of the issue - so whenever someone marks the issue as "Resolved" - there is no track of the date and time of closing the issue. Unless I was not able to find it anywhere.


If any of you found it, could you please share? Or if you have any accurate workaround for that? I would appreciate any hints on that.

How can we create a credit note? (= avoir in french)

Do you know how I can create a credit notein XTRF? I mean, when my invoice is sent and saved to my client accounting department and mine too. Then, client is complaining 2 months later. We see that he is right and we offer 20% with acredit note to deduct to the initial invoice. How can I create this credit note Inside XTRF and it makes automatically the final revenue of the project, in order to have the real margin after this credit note deducted.

Adobe reader extended and asian fonts

Anyone having a problem with custom invoices needing the extended fonts to be installed for viewing with Adobe reader? The font in the invoices is Arial so this shouldn't be needed

PayPal link in quote email?

Is there a way to have XTRF quotes/quote emails link to PayPal with the price already filled in? We include a link to our website where there is a PayPal link in the email, but the customer has to enter the price on their own which seems weird. Curious how other agencies handle PayPal for client payment.

External System Name in Vendor Smart View

I'm trying to display the external system name of the vendor in a Smart View but cannot seem to find the column name. In this case, this external system name contains the CAT tool (memoQ) user name. Being able to display this is not just useful for our PMs but also assists our vendor manager to ensure all active vendors have a memoQ user name assigned that maps correctly with our memoQ server. That way we could run a periodic job report that highlights all such active vendors w/o defined memoQ user name.

Terms and conditions

Hello,


I just registered on vendor portal as a translator and it prompts me to tick "i agree with terms and conditions". However, i cannot see anything under them; usually when someone is prompted with such message, there is a link to read and analyze such terms and conditions.

What am i missing?

Also, would it be possible to upload a Framework agreement or a SLA somewhere to be seen/read by vendors and tick it in agreement to make the recruitment process easier?

Any idea/suggestion is welcome.

Quote templates - Classic Projects

Is is possible to add the option to create quote templates in Classic Projects? I know you can in Project Templates, but not in Quote templates? Is this functionality on the horizon?
