How to avoid creating XTRF Temporary TMs during memoQ-XTRF integration?

How do we turn off the option to automatically create temporary TMs in a  memoQ project created through integration? We found that even if when the "Add Default Translation Memory if needed" option is unchecked, the temporary TM will still be created in memoQ.


I have created Selection rules for Workflow Resources, and the TMs are selected correctly in XTRF, but in memoQ, the temporary TM is always created and added as the Working/Master TM.

I have different TM rates pourcentages depending on the specialisation of the project. It seems that I can enter only one set of TM rates pourcentages for all specialisation, but I need different ones for different specialisation

Create vendor invoice PDF on SFTP through macro

Hi all,

we have a small macro that runs monthly to force status of some vendor invoices to BILL RECEIVED.

We implemented this so we could keep the payment due dates of the vendor invoices consistent. However, when we change the status to BILL RECEIVED by using a macro, the final PDF files are not created on the SFTP server.

Since there is no option in XTRF to download all invoices at once (as there is for client invoices), we grab them from the SFTP, but due to this, we need to manually change the status for each invoice from the UI.

Does anyone know how to trigger the PDF creation on the SFTP server through a macro?

I asked the support desk, but unfortunately it would require extra time on their side and paid developer support :(

Cannot close Smart Project through API

It happens occiasionally that Smart Project's status doesn't automatically change to "Closed" despite all jobs within the project being either "Ready" or "Cancelled". Usually this is due to some XTRF <-> memoQ synch issue and can be easily fixed with an API call changing the status of the project, but this time it is different. I am getting "Illegal Project Status Transition: Cannot close project which contains open claims" error while trying to close the project via API. All jobs but one are "Ready", and one is "Cancelled". Has anyone came across similar issue? What is an "open claim" exactly? Does it have something to do with invoicing/vendor specifications, by any chance? Any input will be appreciated!

Fill in invoices

I filled in both the receivables and the payables sections in the quote and project. The project is 'closed' and I want to send the invoice to the client, but when I enter the Invoicing section, my invoice is completely empty and the total cost is 0.00 euros. What should I do?

Can you remove the "Register" button from the vendor log in screen?

We don't want lots of linguist registering in our system, it takes too much staff time to go through them and we only really focus on targeted vendor outreach. With the Register button on the log on page, we get more registrations that we'd want. Is there a way to remove it so it is not so easily accessed?

Delayed notifications for new projects

I am a translator using this platform. I receive notifications via email (gmail) when a new project is available for me, and I then need to go to the platform and accept it. It happens most of the times that once I click on the project (a few seconds after receiving the email notification) the project has been taken.

While it is possible that others are faster than me, is it possible to get faster notifications? This would be important to me because about I loose 90% of potential projects due to this issue.

How to delete files in bulk? Will they also be deleted from vendor portal?

Because of safety reasons and GDPR legislation we need to delete translated files after a certain period. Is it possible to do this in bulk instead of per individual project? Will they then also automatically disappear from the vendor portal? Thanks!

Customer Feedback: IS there a way to change the design?

It is the one you can change the questions through:
Configuration -> Client and Vendors -> Client Settings -> Satisfaction Survey [TAB]
