How to delete files in bulk? Will they also be deleted from vendor portal?
Because of safety reasons and GDPR legislation we need to delete translated files after a certain period. Is it possible to do this in bulk instead of per individual project? Will they then also automatically disappear from the vendor portal? Thanks!

I would recommend the following steps.
First, get SFTP access from XTRF support, this way you can access the files in the backend.
We are using Smart Projects, so getting direct access to files is not as easy. The easiest way to "clump" them back together is to make sure that the project is archived.
If the project is archived, it is moved to a separate folder in the XTRF backend.
Then simply deleting the archive when the period of time you mentioned is reached should achieve exactly what you need.
For classic projects, I think archiving should work too, but also you should be able to directly get to the project structure via SFTP.
Thank you! So if I understand correctly, it is only possible to delete files in bulk if you archive the smartprojects and then delete them in the backend? Does that mean the complete projects are deleted? Or only the files?
There might be a better way, but this is the one that does not cost anything for us and requires close to manual work as we do archiving regularly and XTRF sorts the archived folder neatly per year and per month.
The files in Smart Projects are stored in a randomized order, so there is no way to just get directly to the Smart Project folder and delete it there, when you access SFTP you will be able to experience that. Archiving seems to bring them back together - and then you can delete them easily, the project stays, and the files are no longer available.
I do not see the option in API, which makes sense, that would be very risky to allow this endpoint. Maybe XTRF customization team can prepare something that is less... raw :).
