Exporting Client Satisfaction Survey

mark 7 years ago updated 7 years ago 27

Has anyone tried to export the data (or use the data) from client satisfaction surveys? I can view them in the project. I can export the optional qualitative question in the project view report. However, the only place I can find the quantitative evaluation is in the project itself - which makes it hard to use. Amy I missing something? Has anyone else experienced this?

Answer

Client satisfaction surveys were not made with export in mind. Sigh.

At the moment, only a solution involving a custom-made column could do the trick.

We offer such customization - you can too, provided the feature to is enabled in your plan. For more details see http://xtrf.userecho.com/topics/349-apis-and-customizations/.

Vendor selection rules, in Smart Projects, does not contain enough filters

I am trying to set up a vendor selection rule in a smart project and am running into an issue. This particular account is multilingual and we use only MLVs for each language. Some of these MLV's languages overlap with the other MLVs. So the use of a particular category does not necessarily help to distinguish the languages. For instance, let's say ABC Corp offers ES-ES and PT-BR, while XYZ also offers those languages, but I want to use ABC for ES-ES, and XYZ for PT-BR, and since this is a smart project, I want this to be automated.

In a classic project I run into the same problem, but I circumvent the problem by adding a filter for Target as Native Language under Vendor. This filter is not available in a smart project. Can anyone offer advice on how this can be done in a smart project.

Thanks,

Jaime

How to set a new mailing list

Marta Caeiro 7 years ago in Something Else 0

Hello XTRF team

I need to select some contact persons from each client and send them all the same e-mail.

I see there is an option to send the e-mail to a mailing lis, on the CRM module,bu I can't see how to form a new mailing list.

Help would be much appreciated.

Best,

Marta

how to delete inactive users in XTRF?

Gonzalo 7 years ago updated by Marcin Jakubowski 7 years ago 4

How should we delete inactive users in XTRF? When someone leaves the company we set their user as inactive but at some point it'd be useful to be able to remove them from the system... when using reports and in KPIs we always get results for inactive users that are not needed. Currently we cannot delete those users from the system as they are assigned to workflows or previous projects.

Set automatic receivables (with established values) for a process template?

Molly 7 years ago in Home Portal / Smart Projects updated by Marek Joniec (XTRF Product Manager) 6 years ago 3

Hi,

Under classic projects workflow definitions, we are able to set specific receivables. This really comes in handy to set up, for example, minimum fees or just to ensure that the receivables cover all the steps in a workflow.

I see there are automatic receivables option with Smart Projects but it appears to be totally tied to CAT analysis/jobs involving word counts. I'm looking to have automatic receivables using the HOUR calculation unit.

Here is an example of how we want to use this:

-Open project, select "Interpreting" smart project process & select client

-Opened project has pre-filled receivable "Interpreting @ 2 hours x $X/hr" (rate pulled from client price list)

This saves a lot of time when opening frequent, single-process type projects with established pricing. Is there some configuration I'm missing? Or, can we expect to have this sort of functionality in Smart Projects in the future?

Answer

Hi All

I'm afraid that at the moment the only option available in the system are the receivables based on the cat analysis.

There is an idea for this kind of development :

https://xtrf.userecho.com/communities/1/topics/671-auto-creation-of-default-payables-and-receivables-in-smart-projects

And we have it in our plans as something to be added in the system, not in the nearest future thou.

Best regards,

Marek

*.ppt file extension and memoQ integration

Jelle Maes 7 years ago in Home Portal / Smart Projects with CAT integration updated by Sancho Leath 7 years ago 11

Hi,

As memoQ users, we currently lack the possibility to upload PPT files in our projects with file extension*.ppt (*.pptx files work fine). The PPT file filter does exist in memoQ, so when importing them directly into memoQ, it works. But it doesn’t work through the integration. Quite annoying for projects where the client uploads his material through customer portal and where an automated process is expected to complete the project. I discussed this with Kilgray first, and it appears to be available in the memoQ API though.

thanks for sharing your thoughts

I got good news from Kilgray. In short, importing ppt files via memoQ API (used by XTRF integration) will be available in the next release of memoQ Server (version 8.3 I suppose). After upgrading memoQ Server it should work out of the box (no XTRF upgrade necessary).

Here you can read the full explanation from Kilgray:

As you have seen in the API documentation the support for doc, ppt and xls files was restricted, but this has changed in the meantime (doc and xls files would work already on your server). The ppt was an exception because we could not handle them without an installed copy of MS office.
The final technical difficulties were also overcome recently, and server side ppt import was enabled just during the last week.
Then next release will contain the modifications. A server upgrade will be required for them, of course.
We will update the API documentation as well, to reflect these changes.

Quick Books Online API integration

Nick Briggs 7 years ago in Something Else updated by mark 7 years ago 5

Hi Forum users,

We have recently moved over to Quick Books Online and subscribed to the XTRF Intergration API.  Was wondering if any other XTRF users are currently running the integration successfully. We would be interested in sharing our experience and potential issues.

Thanks all

Nick

I need to go back and update a lot of receivables from a lot of jobs. What's the fastest way of doing that?

Angelo 7 years ago in Home Portal / Classic Projects updated 7 years ago 6

A lot of receivables had the wrong quantity, so now I have to go back and change all the receivables.  All the total agreed stay the same, so the invoices stay identical.  What's the fastest way of doing these changes?

How to download PDFs in batches rather than one by one?

Gonzalo 7 years ago updated by Łukasz Kaleta (Senior Customer Success Manager) 7 years ago 3

Every month we have to download from XTRF all the invoices so that they can be processed by our accountants. Is there a way of doing in one go or should we download them one at a time?
