Development : provider evaluation system
Hi,
The current evaluation system of the 5 stars rating is simple, however following an ISO audit our auditor thought it was lacking in terms of depth of information. Even if we now add comments, would it be possible to have not just one criteria of evaluation, but also other criteria like:
- time to deliver
- business relationship
- quality of translation
Is this kind of development possible?
While keeping a general rating, being able to break it down would allow more insight.
Maybe, since the LISA evaluation exist, would it be simpler to set up specific criteria within LISA?

Sylvain,
There are already a couple of development ideas suggested on the other forum:

As a temporary solution to your request, I would think of per-vendor custom fields with a drop-down list.

Can I generate a list of contact persons that we've done work for recently?
For holiday card purposes, I would like to have the names (and, why not, the addresses) of our recent customer contacts. By definition that would be the ones we did projects (or tasks) for during 2017. I can't see ways to filter contacts by date of work provided for them. Or by any other date or time fields, or project related fields. Has anyone been coping with the same issue, and would you have any suggestions?

Ha, found a workaround I'd like to share with you:
In Projects, create a new view, adding columns for Client, Contact Person Display Name (or First Name and Last Name or whatever you like), as well the address fields. Yes, they're all there! Filter by project start date or any other time indicator.
Of course, you'll have many duplicates, as for most clients and contacts you will have multiple projects. But once exported to Excel, you can easily remove duplicates (this is done in the Data ribbon; click Remove Duplicats and choose the select contact person and customer columns). Of course, you also want to remove columns with fields that are not relevant for your mailing, such as project ID or whatever you had in your view.
And voilà, an Excel list with recent contacts with their company name and addresses, that you can use to print labels with Word or a dedicated program.

automated e-mail to clients
How can we include the task name in the notification e-mail the client receives when their task is ready?

Why my vendors who work in memoQ cannot download packages?
With the memoQ update of 7.8.169, a bug was fixed by Kilgray where vendors could download packages even when their work mode was set to "online (no packages)." The following message is shown in Vendor Portal: "XTRF could not download CAT Package. Try again or contact your Project Manager."
What should be done to fix the issue?

Please verify the above mentioned setting in memoQ and change it to either of the two: "packages only" or "both".

Upload Trados TQA report to LISA evaluation
Hi,
Is it possible (or planned) to upload a Trados TQA analysis to the LISA evaluation section? This would greatly boost our integration.

How to set files uploading options with Memsource integration?
Hi,
I would like to know how to set files uploading options in Xtrf/Memsource?If I could set them by default it would be even better.
Indeed, when I upload file through Xtrf (using the integration), I don't have the possibility to set these options, such as:
-Notes or master slides for powerpoints
-"Replace font" for Indesigns
etc...
Thank you for your help.

I believe the integration uses the master settings in your MS account, so if you set them there, they will be used. If, like us, you want to use different settings for different projects/clients, you need to use the Memsource templates and select them in your workflow (or set them in your workflow definitions if they are always the same for a given workflow).
This is for the integration with Classic Projects, by the way, as there is no integration with Smart Projects yet.

How we can link large size (500MB or bigger) deliverables to the relevant task in XTRF?
Is there any way we could upload large size (500MB or bigger) deliverables to the relevant task without them taking so much space?

Lack of information in the Vendor portal
It should be useful if vendors could see the volume of the job and the Project name in addition to the automatic code which is generated by XTRF.
Is it possible to add these informations in the job offer screen?

Where to find address for vendor portal?
Is the web address for the vendor portal located somewhere for reference within XTRF configurations? I see the address for the customer portal listed within Partner Management > Customer Portal but am not sure where to find this for our vendor portal. I think it would be helpful to have an analogous set up for the vendor portal.

What types of client groups do you use for the client portal?
We don't have too many clients set up on it yet, so am interested to see the rationale of how other LSPs configure it. Do you just use the three default groups based on client status (active etc.), or customize other groups (and based on what)?
