Virtual column to view project invoice status
I would like to view the invoicing status (i.e. whether a client invoice has been created) in a project view. I know that client invoices are created per task, not per project, and therefore this is task-level information that cannot usually be viewed at the project level. I don't have much experience in creating virtual columns and wondered if anyone knows if I might be able to create a project view column where it would display "Fully invoiced" if all tasks within the project have the status "invoiced" (i.e a client invoice has been created), "Partly invoiced" if some of the tasks within the project have the status "invoiced" and "Not invoiced" if none of the tasks within the project have the status "Invoiced"?
Export Client and Provider Payments
All views from all sections of the system have the possibility to export apart from Client Payments and Provider Payments in Smart views. It is possible to export those in "Old" views but not in Smart. After cheking with the helpdesk, it's not a bug, it's a missing feature which needs to be upvoted first in order to get made.
So, I would like to suggest a feature where everything is exportable even from the Smart views and including data from the tabs Client Payments and Provider Payments.
Vendor Portal and AB5?
We've made a bunch of updated to the documentation that we require from vendors in light of AB5 in California. Of course, the vendor portal isn't set up to collect this type of data so essentially we put it in the independent contractor agreement. It works, but that means we still have lots of manual data review and entry as we onboard new vendors. So, question....
How to others handle the need for additional documentation from vendors in light of AB5? We require documents showing that vendors can 'prove' they are freelancers or incorporated.
And for @XTRF, is there any plan to add features to the vendor portal to support AB5 documentation?
How can I use a Task view in a Smart View widget?
Dear All,
I would like to have a smart view in my dashboard that displays tasks that are closed but not yet invoiced - a useful daily reminder to send those damned invoices. ;-)
However, this involves a Tasks views, and for some reason, the 'scopes' I get to choose views from, don't include Tasks.
Is there any other way to display a view listing invoiceable closed tasks on the Smart Dashboard?

From and Reply-to email address
Has anybody had any success in setting up their emails to enable changing the XTRF setting "Set sender email address in" to "From and Reply-to"? This is so that emails to our clients and providers appear to come from the sender of the email (as set in the email template), rather than from our one main email address. I know that it requires settings changes in the email client itself rather than XTRF (in our case we use Outlook) - does anybody have any insight on how to do this? I am going to contact Outlook support but thought I would check here first.

Projects Files are not reachable in Customer Portal when Project has been ARCHIVED
Dear all,
When a project has been Archived, files are no longer available in the Customer Portal.
This may sound banal, but if a client is under an Audit session and they need to display the files, they are not there, they can't be downloaded.
The only solution is to Dearchive the projects, but, Projects can’t be Dearchive in a bulk, it has to be done one by one either we have 10 or 1.000 projects….
We thought about excluding some clients projects from the Archiving process but that it not possible either.
Anyone with this same problem? Any solution? Any thoughts?

There is nothing out of the box that I can suggest to make this process easier.
I have asked our customization team and they confirmed that it can be done via macro, if you are interested please contact KAM or Support.
Wordcount in Provider notification e-mail

Price profiles for "hybrid" jobs (PE&TRA)

We often have projects with some content pretranslated both from the TM and other content from from MT.
We want to apply the providers' post-editing rate for "new words", but then the TM match rates are recalculated as a percentage of the new PE base rate. However, we want to apply the fuzzy and 100% match rates that are based off of a providers translation rate since translation of fuzzy matches is a different task than post-editing.
What solutions have you found for setting up the vendors' profiles so that this is done without having to manually modify the rates of each "hybrid" project?
