Update project volume with memoQ word count?

We have several workflows that include using memoQ to generate an analysis of files. Is there any way to have the total word count from the analysis automatically populate the project's volume field? Either using a macro in XTRF or maybe an automated action within memoQ to send the word count to the XTRF api?
