How can we edit the instructions content formatting and add images to it?

There is no way of attaching images to instructions (you can just use them as a file in the process!).

Can you tell me where exactly you are trying to add formatting and what is the result

As far as I know, in Smart projects you can not add formatting to the instructions. That can only be done in Classic Projects.

A few years ago, this feature has already been requested.
