How can I log off a user that appears to be logged in, but in fact is not?

Our license allows five users to be logged in simultaneously. Currently, four are logged in, but a fifth is still taken to be logged in by the system, so we reached our limit. Logging in and out again as this user is to no avail. I remember that I could log in as admin and find a list of currently logged in users, where I could forcefully log out any user... Probably under Configuration | System. But in our current version (6) I can't find anything like that. Is it still possible to do this? If not, how do we proceed to remove this ghost user?

Hi,

Try this: Configoration > System Information > System Monitor. Under Active sessions you'll find a list of logged-in users with Sign-out option.

Hi Katarzyna,

Indeed, that is what I was looking for. However, in our current XTRF, under Configuration > System Information > ... I only find E-mail line. And when logged as admin, I find only E-mail line and Browse logs. No System Monitor. So could I find that somewhere else, or do I need even more access rights?

Hi Wouter,

I think this might be because just as our company you may be using XTRF as SaaS instead of having it installed on your servers? XTRF will surely give better answer but I believe that these options aren't accessible/available in SaaS model.

Much thanks Tomas, I'll contact XTRF Support. Will post the answer here though, it may be useful for you some day as well. ;-)

Of course, this is a situation we would like to avoid. Now the one thing that makes the user who seems to be always logged in (but actually logs out faithfully) different, is that she is using a Mac. Could the fact that that isn't noticed by XTRF have something to do with that? If this is a known issue, can we avoid it?

Maybe you have a different licence type than we do. I don't know where else this option could be. I'd ask XTRF Support for that.

Best!

Hi Katarzyna,

My apologies for taking you for an XTRF team member! ;-) Indeed, I'll contact support.

Hi, I'm dealing with the same issue here. Can I ask for a valid answer? We have SaaS licenses.
