mass emails from CRM

FACI 5 years ago in Something Else updated by Reinis Straume (LMI:T) 4 years ago 4

I would like to know if there is a maximum number of e-mails that can be sent from the CRM simultaneosly.

Is there a limit before they get stopped or spammed from the server? Thank you

This largely depends on your server. Some services don't appreciate such actions. Free google account would figure it out quickly and block sending mass emails. But I assume you're not using a free acount.

XTRF makes no restrictions on its own.

Our servers have a limit of 300 e-mails per hour and it's not possible to up the limit without being considered spam

Instead of having to send c. 250 emails every hour, is it possible for XTRF to send CRM emails at the same time to all our contacts (c. 2000+) on behalf of our company using IP address rotation, for example?

Thank you!

XTRF itself cannot do this, it has a simple SMTP client, and it usually runs on a server with only single IP address.

In order to achieve IP rotation, you should create an external SMTP relay server with multiple IP addresses, and direct XTRF to this relay instead of the current SMTP server. This is however not related to XTRF, this is more of a general load-balancing issue,.

I propose implementing the option for staggered delivery with the option of specifying/selecting batch sizes.
