Upgrade to XTRF 7 on Linux
Hello,
Has anyone tried to upgrade XTRF to version 7 on any Linux distro?
Not sure whether it is already available in the Linux repositories:
root@server:/# sudo apt-get install xtrf7
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xtrf7 : Depends: jboss-xtrf7x (>= 7.1.3-17.2) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
root@server:/# sudo apt-get install jboss-xtrf7x

And an attempt to install systemd assumes, that… Postgresql will be deleted, so it's not the best idea.

It looks like you either has outdated operating system (not meeting the requirements at https://knowledgebase.xtrf.eu/display/XTRFHelp/Server+Requirements) or you have installed some software from custom repositories that is conflicting with your base packages. All of the supported operating systems, that are mentioned on the above page, were tested on clean install and they worked as expected. I recommend that you seek help from professional system administrator to resolve those conflicts.
