XTRF 9.5 Release Note

To make your experience with XTRF even better we’ve made a number of changes:

• Switched to the new authentication method in Memsource Integration
• Improved the scrolling in the Finance card of the Smart Projects
• Improved the formatting for the active tab states
• Improved the communication with Memsource
• Improved performance and scalability of projects with a large number of contact persons
• Fixed some bugs

Improvements

New authentication method in Memsource Integration

As Memsourse has announced the deprecation of old authentication methods starting from November 2022, XTRF switches to the new token-based authentication.

To ensure the proper work of the integration please upgrade to version 9.5 as soon as possible.

UX enhancements

Improved scrolling in the Finance card of the Smart Projects

In projects with many language pairs navigating through Receivables, Payables, and Invoicing Terms tabs has become more comfortable. Now there is no need to scroll up to the tab header to see the calculations for the selected pair.

Improved formatting for the active tab states

We have changed the way the active tabs are presented, so there is no chance to confuse an active tab with the one you just hover over.

Now the active tabs' names are both colored and bold. The hovered ones only change their color.

Technical improvements

Communication with Memsource improved

JSESSIONID cookies which, in rare cases, may have been hindering the communication between XTRF and Memsource APIs, have been removed on both ends, and are no longer attached to any endpoint requests.

Performance improvements

Better management of projects with a large number of contact persons

Your XTRF is now ready to deal with a large numbers of client contact persons. The system will perform better while creating projects and quotes, starting jobs, assigning contacts, or adding payables and receivables for clients with up to 10000 contact persons.

This release contains security fixes. Please update as soon as possible.
